Banana Bread Oatmeal

Ingredients:

1/4 cup oats

1/2 banana, sliced

1/2 scoop vanilla whey protein powder

1 tablespoon finely chopped walnuts

Cinnamon

Directions:

Cook oats & protein in water in microwave.  Mix the rest of the ingredients and stir.

Nutrition:

Cals – 237

Carbs – 30g

Fat – 7g

Protein – 16g

I eat this all the time! Except I use half almond milk, half water and add a smidge of nutmeg.

I did a chocolate-covered banana oatmeal this morning…banana, almond milk, a small spoonful of cocoa powder, vanilla protein powder, and flax. Chocolate-covered strawberry is good too. Yum!

do you use unsweetened cocoa powder?

Yes, ma’am! If your banana is not extra ripe, you may need a lil stevia to balance out the cocoa, but I just save this recipe for the last few bananas that are too ripe to eat alone.
