Protein Pancakes

Ingredients:

1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats

1 tbsp ground flaxseeds

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

2 egg whites

1/3 cup fat free cottage cheese

Directions:

Put all ingredients into a blender & blend until smooth.  If batter is still thick add more egg.  Refrigerate batter for about 3 minutes while heating a pan over medium heat.  Pour a third of the batter into a pan.  When it starts to bubble gently flip & cook the other side.  Repeat with remaining batter.

Fat – 2g (depends on protein)

Sodium – 170mg

Carbs – 35g

Fiber – 6g

Sugar – 4g

Iron – 2mg

Protein – 25g

I have a recipe similar to this, it is great for diabetics! I saw one online today similar as well but they used Splenda. I don’t use Splenda because it has traces of mercury,lead and bleach in it. YUCK!

you forgot to put how much protein is in them 🙂 !!!
