As I sit here at my computer I am actually salivating thinking about these treats!!  I met Donna McDonough, the chef behind these babies, one afternoon at my gym.  She was walking through passing out samples to all the trainers & others around.  Everyone seeemed to know her & love her and were happily accepting her treats, so naturally I did the same.  The first of all the treats I had was the Peanut Butter Bit protein cookie.  I saved this until the next day and I had it after my sandwich for lunch.  Not only was this dessert for me but it also kept me quite satiated for more than 3 hours after!  This 8 bite-sized cookie packs 182 cals, 17 carbs, 10 g of fat & 7 g of protein!  Really not bad for such a sweet treat!

Since I’ve had a few of her other delicacies, such as the peanut butter chocolate chip protein cookie, blueberry coconut white chocolate cookie, cinnamon agave almonds, peanut butter cups, white chocolate peanut butter cups & peanut butter rice crispy treats.

I made a special order for the last two.  They were seriously gone in a matter of days!

White chocolate peanut butter cups

Each contains 58 cals, 3 carbs, 4 g of fat, 2 g of protein.  But it’s not bad if you think about it because you know exactly what you are eating when you get these from her.  She has wonderful packaging that describes all of the nutrition facts as well as Weight Watchers points, if that’s your thing.  And these are made from all natural foods.. white chocolate, cashews, and home made all natural peanut butter.  (Speaking of which, she really does make her own peanut butters that come in all flavors!)

Peanut butter rice crispy treats

These are probably what will make Donna famous!  If you like rice crispy treats, and if you like peanut butter you won’t be able to help yourself from finishing this whole box over one weekend.  Each is 91 cals, 10 carbs, 5 g of fat, 2 g of protein.. but once again you know what you are getting.  All natural pb, rice puffs, honey & vanilla.

So if you are interested in a delicious treat to eat for dessert, give as a gift or make yourself the hit of the party contact Donna at customerservice@alexswhey.com, and of course www.alexwhey.com!
